Why Choose Black Angus? Generally, Black Angus tastes better and is more tender than other beef. This is attributed to the meat's marbling – a trait that Black Angus is known for. In marbled meat, the fat is distributed thinly and evenly, which leads to consistent flavor, juiciness, and flavor. All of our cattle are grass-fed and spend the majority of their lives on pasture eating grass. As our cattle grow, grains like corn, wheat, and needed minerals are added to their diets. This grain finishing enhances marbling in beef, giving it the great flavor we all enjoy. Unlike most modern hog farms, our hogs are raised the "old fashioned way." They spend their entire life in the forest and out in our farm pastures, not confined to concrete finishing floors.
